The temperatures in Toronto are nice and warm during the summer months, and the calendar of events really heats up. There are many festivals to enjoy at this destination, and also some nice quiet scenic places in which to relax.

Here are a few ideas of what to do during your summer visit to Toronto:

·        Hang out on Centre Island

This beautiful area of Toronto contains almost 600 acres of parkland, which is perfect for enjoying a summer picnic. You can reach Centre Island in just a few minutes by a ferry from downtown Toronto. This area is also home to Centreville Amusement Park, which guarantees a fun day for the whole family!

·        Rock out to Caribbean Music at Caribana

This lively festival takes place over two weeks during July and August, and it is a celebration of Caribbean music, culture, and food. It is one of the largest festivals of its kind in North America, and the sweet groovy reggae and calypso beats will really make it feel like summertime!

·        Enjoy the tastes of Toronto at Summerlicious.

If you love food, you will have the time of your life in Toronto because this city has some of the best restaurants in Canada and authentic international cuisine from all over the world. ·        Take a stroll along The Beach.

This neighbourhood in Toronto’s east end has a long stretch of waterfront that is perfect for a summer stroll. ·        Ride the roller coasters at the CNE.
